What's it all about anyway?
Come tour our beautiful grounds full of blooming flowers, Alaskan-sized vegetables, and inspiring glass garden installations. Enter through the Glass & Gift Gallery to start your journey. We are proud of the variety and diversity of the plants we grow here in “The Land of the Midnight Sun" and are excited to share our blooms and sustainable agriculture techniques with you. Keep an eye out for hidden pathways and glass inspiration throughout the garden, created on site by our very own glass artisans.
Most of our cruise ship tour programs include a professionally guided garden tour and either a delicious full tea service or gourmet lunch – all prepared fresh using as many organic ingredients from our garden as seasonally available! You can also wander our gardens on your own time with the assistance of our self-guided garden tour pamphlet.
Our bright and inviting dining venues all have a view onto the garden grounds. The dining deck is a great place to enjoy the fresh air and explore the tranquility of Skagway. The open air glassblowing studios are located within the garden and the ancient art of glassblowing can be viewed with garden entry.

Follow Our Flowers
Oh my, how do we start telling you about all the fun and amazing things we have going on at Jewell Gardens? Our gardens were started in 1996 by Charlotte and Jim Jewell, shortly after Charlotte discovered not a single flower box existed in the Garden City of Alaska. On the site of, and with the inspiration of Henry Clark’s gold rush era farm, Jewell Gardens is now an organic certified show and vegetable garden, active glassblowing studio, and restaurant.
All of our team wears many hats and with our gardeners, cooks, glassblowers, sales people, guides, servers, and admin, we are able to keep our operations running smoothly and even manage to find time for fun.
